Didn’t see this coming

August 18, 2009

He-who-shall-not-be-named is about thisclose to signing with the Vikings and to making a complete ass out of himself. Apparently he will jump right into practice and play in the Vikings preseason game only three days from now. Well I know at least one person who will be happy with this move. That’s right, none one other than the random anonymous guy who left a comment on our blog thinking we had a direct line to he-who-shall-not-be-named himself. Let’s re-live that weird-ass comment:

I hope you read this Brett. I have been a Viking Fan since I was 6 years old. I am 46 years old now. I Have been a Brett Favre fan since he has played for the pack. I just want to say If you play for the vikings this year I will be Jacked up that would be the most bitchin news I have heard in years you my friend are the missing link to us going to the big Dance. Good luck my friend and as soon as your jersey comes out I will be one of the first to buy it also you will be the 1st pick in my fantasy League. Sincerely another good old boy in California Chuck Cutshall (Chaz95th@aol.com)

Now if one of our readers did that as a joke, well played. You got me shitting myself. Otherwise, it’s scary to think there are people like that in this world.

As for this blog, we will continue with our “not talking about him unless he comes back to play and if he does then we will have no kind words for him, ever” promise. Seeing as how he is now coming back to play, expect every loss, every pick, every injury, every complaint, and every passed buck to be fodder for our unrelenting fun at Favre’s expense.

And $10-12 million is fucking ridiculous to pay this man for the 8 losses he will singlehandedly give the Vikings. But hey, it’s your money.

Go. Away.

Brett Favre. Minnesota Vikings. They’re talking. Favre wants to come back and play for them. They want him to play for them. This deal will get done within the next two weeks. Favre will take about $3-5 million for a one-year contract. Book it.

This has officially been my last post about Brett Favre. Except when he comes back to play. Then I will post about him again, but rest assured that all of those posts will solely be me making fun of how he is a washed up loser and shouldn’t have signed with the Jets let alone with the Vikings. I will post no nice things. If you happen to see me write a nice thing about Brett Favre, look a little closer and you will see that it is more than likely a veiled insult. Or you don’t understand sarcasm. Until then, get your Brett Favre news from ESPN.
